Current Position (Updated
24th July 2009) We previously advised you that the Banks appeal in the House of Lords concluded on the 24th June and that we awaited the Judgement. We were hopeful that this would be prior to the summer recess that commences in August.
Unfortunately this will not be so. We have learnt that this is not one of the scheduled Judgements to be announced until the House resumes business in October.
Furthermore the Financial Services Authority have extended the Waiver on the investigation of all complaints for a further six months. Consequently all complaints will remain on hold.
